Vol 1: I haet Pirates 1

Sean and I had a little spat over a little sub-forum he and the group made about a made-up pirate religion and I refused to join because I'm a ninja man myself. So I put a little into it about the comic. Well, Christmas was afoot when I finally decided to implement this little storyline and well, I got loads of video games, DVDs, and other things to keep me away from the internet, and probably forgot what I was originally going to do, so I just put Jag-romadon up as an excuse. Atleast that's what I think what happened. If anyone actually remembers what happens, feel free to put up a comment or message me or something to tell me how stupid I am and give me the real story

The lady that appears with Megan is neotaku user Pirate Angel/Morgan, who happens to really love Pirates of the Caribbean, something Megan also loved. They aren't really related. I don't even know if they ever talked, or if Megan really even liked her, but despite that I think Megan made the suggestion that they be mother/daughter, and I liked it. Weird and presented lots of jokes. And since I really didn't know Morgan that well, she was a pirate. Which might have been her idea, but regardless, some one with Jack Sparrow all over their avatars and goes by Morgan Sparrow is going to be a pirate.

Now that I think about it, Drew's comment about deja vu means that the mother/daughter thing was derived from an AIM chat. Also, I need to stop appearing in my comic.

Vol 1: Megan Fanservice 2

Megan got a pet cow in this comic. You never get to see it again sadly. I don't know why, I rather liked that sprite of the cow. The black sections in the second part of the comic are supposed to show Snap's field of vision, which was the best way I could convey it.

Vol 1: Introduction of Amy

Yeah, I was getting sick of having almost all male characters, so I bother JOS and he got another artist to join up, Amy. I can't remember her username, but she was a decent artist. I really couldn't think of a good way to protray her, since I rarely if ever talked to her, so I gave her the attention span of a goldfish.

Also, I saw that Morrigan had that shooting pose, and I knew I would never get to use it, so I used a reference to Max Payne. I really love Max Payne, and I would have really like Max Payne 2 if it was maybe 50% longer. However, I'm really excited to see Alan Wake, and hope that there will eventually be a Max Payne 3. Until then, I'll just have to get my noir fix elsewhere.

Vol 1: New Shoes

Okay, one thing that I didn't notice when I first put Lerick in the comic, I had to put him a pixel higher than everyone else because his base sprite, Shingo, was shorter than everyone else. So, I finally got sick of it and made all of his sprites one inch taller on the excuse of new shoes. Also, I don't know how he got new shoes if he didn't have the money to pay for them at the store? Effin' plot-holes

Vol 1: Villainy

Sean and Kris really didn't appreciate me making them villain-y. Also, I swear there was more to this comic, I think a comment from Sean about how he just follows Kris's ass where ever it goes. Oh well, just imagine he said that.

Friday, December 12, 2003

Vol 1: Theft

Yeah, so, Megan had this weird cow thing going on for a while. I don't remember what it was about, but she was a cow, or wanted a pet cow, or something. It was a long time ago. Regardless, that's why she says "Moo!" instead of "Boo!" That last comment about marmalade is from Family Guy, in case you didn't know.

Vol 1: PETN

This was originally posted around Christmas time, so that's why the decorations. Being the Prince of Christmas Decoration, my father is naturally the King. My home is a shiny beacon of Christmas time in the winter, because my dad goes all out with the decorations. It's really an amazing site.

Anyway, this is one of the few times we get to see Sean get joked on, but lo and behold, he has his own group of people looking out for his ethical treatment. What a lucky guy! Then again, Megan hits the nail on the head with her after comment. Kris and Sean would also probably willing have sex together because Sean is so cool, homo sexual acts have no bearing on his actual coolness level.

Vol 1: Rayven Fanservice 1

Don't let the title fool you. This isn't fanservice featuring Megan, it's fanservice for Megan. On quite a few occasions I do things which basically revolve around Megan being herself. This is one of those, and one of the better comics in a while. I love Lerick and H-man, and especially Sean's line about killing Santa "in self-defense." Also, Drew gets a fancier indeed because this is probably the only time he's ever said it.

Vol 1: Quickly! To the Quick Stop!

Wow, more text errors. I guess I was having a really off week. Anyway, "IT'S GONNA RAIN," is a reference to Family Guy's black weather man "Ollie Williams." Everyone loves Ollie. The joke about the secret entrance is actually from SpongeBob. I don't remember why or what episode, SpongeBob has to outrun somebody to the Krusty Krab, and uses a conveniently placed Secret Tunnel. Well, instead of actually having a tunnel, Mr. T rams into Lerick and H-man to get them to point B.

Vol 1: The Power of the Duece

Just one of those comics were Sean shows his awesomeness by destroying three ninjas and Santa Claus with only a flip of the bird. Also, lol "prostiture." I wish MS Paint had spell check.

Kris would have totally hit Santa, and I regret not making that part of the comic.

Vol 1: Guard Dogs

This is the first time a comic is in a different color scheme, where the JOS cave is now the color of his old website. H-man's comment comes from when Lerick would be sorta scolded by JOS, he would get a little crazy. Like I said, he was weird.

Me and Drew were totally Megan's guard dogs, though she didn't really need them. She is entirely capable of taking care of herself, we're just men hungry for appreciation. Also, I love how Kris disappears in this comic, flying through the air backwards. One of those zany things I did though I know I'd be the only person that'd appreciate it.

Vol 1: Hedgeclippers!

I have no clue what inspired me to give Sean hedgeclippers, but I'm pretty sure it came from an MSN convo. The "disclaimer" thing with Jose is because he showed me ponos when I was a kid. It was some art he was working on and was curious of what I thought of it. It gets worse. Some time later I was an advisor on a hentai game staff. I stand by that being actually the coolest position of my life. I don't know how many people can brag they were going to make a hentai game, but I'm (sorta) one of them. And damnit damnit damnit! I invaded Author Space again.

For those of you who don't know who Adam Sessler is, he's the hap-hazarded co-host of Tech TV/G4TV's Extended Play/X-Play. I love that show. At one point, after reviewing a game that had a character named "Dik Dik Van Dik," Dik Dik became a catch phrase for the poor man. Which is one of his many loser moments. The reason I love him so, is because I love losers like me. So, I'd naturally lurv the guy.

Vol 1: Sleeping with Rayven

In case you were wondering, yes, that TV is actually one of the monitors from Sonic the Hedgehog.

Anyway, I actually do have insomnia, and Megan actually does pass out after that much work. The long spiel that Snap goes on that you can't read is because I want'd it to look like it was important, by make Mr. T look even more important. If it's really that important to know what I said, just open the gif in an animation editor and read it yourself. Finally, the extremely related news head lines gag is sort of stolen from Family Guy, but I put my own spin on the joke.

One last thing, the intro comes from the flash series Eskimo Bob. It's pretty awesome, go check it out.

Also, don't forget that it's T's nature to toss people.

Vol 1: Mr.T v.s. Jackass Adventures

Before there was Chuck Norris, there were Mr. T versus comics, in which Mr.T was ridiculously awesome and tossed everyone he apposed. Also in these comics Mr.T would often need to weld some miraculous contraption out of scrap metal, and his van had a land speed record of Mach X. X meaning where ever he needed to be, he was there in exactly 1 second. This comic is my tribute to those silly comics.

Then again, those comics usually have the worst photoshop work ever.

Vol 1: Moving Along

For some reason, Jose was constantly broke, or low on money. I have no clue what he did for a living, or how he lost so much money, I just accepted it. This is reflected in the comic a lot, as he doesn't seem to have a job or spend any money, but he always seems to get broker and broker. Also, in my comic he was prone to breaking into song. This marks the first appearence of Mr.T too, which I use a 7 year old sprite of him to do so. Mr.T ranks in as the third coolest character, because he was never as popular as Megan or Sean.

I have no clue if he actually hurt his back fighting Rowdy Roddy Piper in the first Wrestlemania, but I have a picture of him lifting Piper on his back that I base that off of.

Friday, November 21, 2003

Vol 1: The End!

I would never do such an ending. I'm not Saint Elsewhere's genius writing staff, or Dallas's or any other freaking TV show that ended being a dream. Also, this doesn't count as the original team's first reappearance, because this is a dream. Yeah, totally saved my previous comment about not seeing them for a year.

And so, Megan makes Snap and Drew become friends again, and I officially see this as the end of Drew's emo period. I think there were several times Megan actually tried to entice us to do things using naked pictures of herself, even though we knew she wouldn't deliver so we didn't do them.

This is also one of the first time's that an ending of the comic is entirely random and unrelated to the actual comic.

Monday, November 17, 2003

Vol 1: Needs more Joe

There are times I'd rather play video games than make comics. You'll know everytime because the title of a comic will usually indicate what I wish I was doing. Anyway, Drew was never really nice to H-man, and I decided that H-man would finally try and try to strike back. At this time, Drew's emo-ness was really getting on everyone's nerves. So, again, it was reflected in the comic.

Oh, and right after Sean, Megan is the next coolest character in the comic. Why do you think they have pretty much the same color scheme?

Vol 1: Mistakes

"And people say I don't know how to talk to girls," is one of the best lines in the comic, in my opinion. It just is that funny to me. I have no clue why we were going to beat up Yu-Gi-Oh kids, or why it was such a great idea. I'm going to assume we were having a rage fest on MSN about Yu-Gi-Oh one day and I decided to put it into a comic. I also love Lerick's line about prejudicial hate. "JA-Team" comes from the title of the comic and the A-Team, which I started to watch a lot of again. I love Mr. T for those of you who don't know, but we'll see him more later. Last note, Sean says indeed a lot. I'm pretty sure he was the one that said it all the time on MSN, but it might have been Andy. I guess I just attributed it to him and made it his catch-phrase.

Vol 1: Current Events

Okay, since it's been 4 years I can probably give away some details without making him feel bad, as he's probably looking back at it and laughing, but I won't give all the details since I'd feel like I was betraying him. Essentially, there was something like a love triangle between me, him, and Megan. Something we would do during neotaku AIM chats, and becomes inspiration for our rivalry in the comic. Ultimately, Megan chose me, and he was c-r-u-s-h-e-d, but as Megan said, she didn't think anything serious of it, as we were all just playing around, but he took it serious, and he took an emo turn for a while. He still sorta acted that way, but me and him stayed friends, though he and Megan became rocky. But, the way Megan and he just are sort of conflict, so I don't know what to really say. I probably said too much just now, but whatever, you all know the back story now. Drew, I'm sorry if any of this was too revealing, but we're adults now bud, this is stuff we look back at and shrug it off with a laugh.

Also, if you noticed, Drew has a penchant for booting people (usually H-man) in the face. This was because his staple threat was to literally boot some one.

Vol 1: Coming of nazzy

The picture, by the way, was nothing really bad. It was two female characters basically just sitting together in lingerie (wow, I spelled that right) and humored me greatly. One of the girls, Luupo (regretful name, seeing as she was a wolf girl) was Kevin's main squeeze, so he'd be cross about the picture. Anyway, enough about my other loser projects, onto Sean!

Sean exhumes awesomeness. He is without question the coolest person in the comic and probably in the world. He never gets beat up, never loses, and stands at a slant. The reason he stands like that is so cool, he's fucking ITALIZIED, so there's more emphasis on him. I don't know why I let him be so cool, he just is. Period. The altercation between Sean and Drew comes from the fact Kyo was Drew's first username, and Sean refused to call him by anything else. This is also one of the few occasions I had Kris and H-man working together. Krazie later moves onto to hang out with Sean and that group and H-man becomes Lerick's comrade under Jose.

Vol 1: Danger, Danger!

Yeah... I really wish I knew about wikipedia before, so I wouldn't make stupid mistakes like KST. This is also the first mention of Sean (nazzy), who by the way, is probably the coolest character in the comic and in the world, but I'll give him the verbal sexings later. The "walks like a girl" part came from his MSN display name at the time, and I thought it was a funny slight at him. Him being Drew's arch nemisis and not Snap is probably because Sean was the only person that really got under Drew's skin without being retarded. The gift to god part is because Jose drew me sexy fan arts. Like I said, he's awesome. And the guy that appears at the end to kill Jose, is Kevin, a character from my short lived DOA fan-fiction "Casting Call." I've had him created in my head since like the sixth grade and that's probably the only media I've ever broadcasted him in, which sorta makes me sad. :\

Vol 1: Worst Comic Ever

Both titles for this comic are misnomers. It's generally pretty average. Everyone aggravates Snap, he screams, and everyone acts like the usually do. This is the first time Megan passes out. This stems from the fact that she would actually just go to sleep in random places, and becomes a running jokes in the comic. Master of the Custodial Arts is a rip from Half Baked, which is an awesome movie about stoners. Has Dave Chappelle and Jim Breuer, who looks reasonably like and acts reasonably like my stoner friend Brady (who isn't a stoner anymore, by the way). "I'm not even supposed to be here today!" is Dante's reoccurring line from Clerks, which is also awesome, but better than Half Baked. Regardless, go watch both.

Vol 1: Leonardo, New Jersey

And more Viewaskiewniverse reference! For those who don't know, Drew loved Clerks and Kevin Smith's films, and I had a fair enjoyment of them, but he influenced me towards them more. Plus, he pushed me into Tarintino's movies. I greatly appreciate him helping me find good taste in movies. Anyway, though, here appears Not Dave, me, the author, again. Not bad, I went like... 8 comics without showing up again. I regret putting in the line about not showing up a lot, because I really do pop in atleast once every ten comics. Also, I think this is only one of two times I invade "Author Space," which comes from Bob and George. The Author of that comic would occasionally appear from the top of the comic, as a way of trying to look like he's from above. That's Dave's bit, so I don't think I do it too much. I just like to be Neo-like and fly away. Last note, this is the first appearance of the JOS-cave, which becomes one of the major venues of the comic.

Vol 1: Being a Pervert

Snap's obviously bleeding because he got pwn'd last comic, and I rather like all the blood spilling out of him. This is also the first time Drew is called Brodie instead of Kyo. Also one of the numerous mentions that Snap is a rapist. Zero's topic is from neotaku, one of the artists there goes by zero and did a lot of requests, most of his art was done on an oekaki program and I think later redone on photoshop or something. I don't know, I didn't put much stock in it. Lerick actually said that in the thread when talking about buying hentai or something. No, spelling error not included. The talk about Sailor Moon hentai I think stems from one time we were talking about the first time we saw hentai, and what it was of. For me, it was Sailor Moon, and then I decided to go see if that site was still up, and I think it was.

Vol 1: A Lerickal Interuption

I freaking love Lerick and Krazie (later Kris), essentially because they're the two characters I can do almost anything with and not feel bad. Lerick was a former member of neotaku until it got wiped a couple of times and he never came back, but he wrote some decent fiction and he shared my love of Mega Man and JOS's art. He's was a weird guy, but very likable. Plus, I swear to God I've seen the inside of his house some where before. Kris... is something of an enigma. I've been under the assumption that he's younger than me, but I can't really tell, but he's by far the most fucked up among us all, and in a good way. Never trust the links he posts in an MSN convo by the way. Half the time their toddlekon and the other half its goatse. I also think he came up with the line about being a slick DBZ-looking mofo, because when I asked him what he should look like he said "suhprize me!" This is also the last time we see Nat for a very, very long time.

Vol 1: Well, its stuff!

Oh my, I have no clue what the bad "Frasier plot tool" is. I really wish I did, because it probably has a semi humorous story behind. Other than that, there's the first reference to the title of the comic. Another humorous note, Snap has never taken revenge on Jose for throwing him into the spring. I think I have a future plot device.

Vol 1: Killing some more time

This was before I knew about wikipedia, so I honestly didn't know if there was a cure or not, so I just went with a solid "nope!" Now that I know about wikipedia, I can just look there if I wanted to know if there was a cure. Will I? No, because I like the quick gender swap device.

Snap and Megan talking about Lupin and Final Fantasy X-2 come from their respective obsessions Lupin and FFX-2. Drew talking about the time he and Snap went to England is another rip from the Clerks cartoon, which is okay because as I said, only 5 people saw it, only 10 know of its existence. Being mean to H-man comes from the fact that we were all mean to him because he was kinda dumb. It was just all really polite hazing though, I swear on it.

Thursday, October 9, 2003

Vol 1: Jusenkyo

The return of Big O and "Scene Missing." Used just as intended, too make me look stupid and to cover a bunch of stuff I didn't know how to sprite. Also, the Matrix joke is taken out of the Clerks cartoon, which is okay because beside me, Drew, and 3 other people, no one has seen them.

Anyway, the hot springs thing comes from the anime/manga Ranma 1/2, and was actually Jose's suggestion, I think when I made a comment that there are no females. He suggested this little bit, and it's become a small side-joke in the comic. I do so dig Leona's sprites though.

Vol 1: Lazy Bastard Syndrome

YES! MY FIRST COP-OUT! WOO! I guess I didn't feel like throwing a comic together so this is what everyone got, a little crappy anime art of myself. LBS stands for Lazy Bastard Syndrome, by the way.

Friday, October 3, 2003

Vol 1: Killing Time

So we introduce Megan (Rayven), Drew(Kyo-san, later Brodie), Jose (JOS), and Anton (hitomifan, later H-man). This guest thing was something me and Drew chatted about, since I was Iori and he was Kyo, eternal rivals from the King of Fighter series. Originally it was just going to be him, but I asked the forum and these were the guest stars I got. I also like the comment about "How long is this going to last?" Who knew it'd be almost a year until we saw Link, Sam, and Lupin again!

A lot of the altercations in this comic come from the actual way the people converse. Megan used the word "Stoopid" a lot, atleast I remember her doing so. Jose's crack about enunciating is a slight on my poor spelling, seeing as bubbles are being spoken. H-man's comment about Rayven's boobs came from his ususal opinion on fan-arts. Drew always called Jose Steve-Dave, for the only reason I can assume is because Drew was actually Walt from Kevin Smith's various films, such as Mallrats and Clerks.

Vol 1: Episode 3, Part 5

When white people say things like "Dogs for Life," its funny. Especially if said in a very "white" manner. Lets not actually get into this. I rather like Link's comment of "WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN!?" If I was smart, the second Link would have echoed that, or there would have been a short dialog between Dante and Second Link about that in which Second Link would be like "HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT!?" But oh well. About Sephiroth, Dante, and Second Link, they were the villians in my old comic, so I decided I might end up reusing them again. Nope, that never pans out either. I'm really glad half my old ideas didn't pan out now that I think about it.

Monday, September 22, 2003

Vol 1: Episode 3, Part 4

I actually dislike action comics, because they take almost as long to make as a normal comic and they go by three times as fast. I do like Bob's upside down flying stab. I was too lazy to actually edit new poses for him, so I made do. Sephiroth's comment is a reference to how he killed Aeris in Final Fantasy 7 (OMG SPOILER!). The entrance of the author is a reference to Bob and George, whose Author would always appear and disappear with a Lens Flare, a "Poof!", and a rather lame pose. I probably steal a lot of jokes from Dave, as he's also have the inspiration for my nickname. Oh well, he'd probably forgive me.

Spell Check Note: I misspelled entrance and the first think spell check said I meant was "interference." Lawl at comic authors interfering in their own comic, another theme from Bob and George.

Vol 1: Episode 3, Part 3

Ah, the rise of the fonts. Fancy fonts start to appear in this comic more often. I think it adds a nice little spice. The inspiration for Snap's story is a true story of what happened to me. Which I still don't get because Sheik is Zelda, and Zelda has a vag00. I hate Japan. Also, another reference to Lupin's Theme song, and I'm already sick of my new fonts. Atleast I didn't use the bottom one extensively.

Nat would also make a horrible Counter Strike hostage.

Friday, September 19, 2003

Vol 1: Episode 3, Part 2

Originally I was going to include some stuff about things called "Zones" which sort of work like alternate dimensions. Characters in Jackass Adventures would reside in the Jackass Zone, and when not in use they'd go to the "Unused Character Zone," and if I ever did other comics they would have the own zone, etc etc etc. Well, that never panned out. And why Sephiroth is a crime boss, I don't know, but everyone loves Sephiroth. In case you've been living under a rock for the past ten years, Sephiroth is the villian of Final Fantasy 7, the most popular video game evar. Though I don't like it as much as 4, or other series as a matter of fact. And a funny thing I noted just now, the reason Sephiroth was able to escape from the Unused Character Zone, is because I needed to use him in the comic. Sort of cosmic on a contained, localized sort of wait.

Vol 1: Episode 3, Part 1

God, besides from Lupin crashing onto his face, not funny at all. Jokes ripped off from Family Guy, and the inclusion of Jay and Silent Bob is another thing I regret doing. 2 years after the release of their movie is when I finally start making jokes with them. Oh, and I'm pretty sure "Ape kill ape" was some random shit kids at my school yelled. Yeah, I suck.

Vol 1: Flash Interlude

I love this joke, but it's lost it's effect now. I just made a little web page, put this gif up there and laughed to myself while I wondered how long people would wait there before noticing they could scroll down. I remember Megan (you'll meet her later) IMing me and going "d00d, I think your flash is broken or something," and then bursting into laughter. I then told her to scroll down, and she haeted me. It was funny though. I'll spare you all though.

[8/07 note]: I got Esther with it too, apparently, she says. More lols for me!

Vol 1: Episode 3, Part 6

Lawl, raep. Last of the episode' d comics too! I've actually had a contact high, and its not as great as it seems. Second hand pot smoke isn't that mind altering, then again, I probably didn't get a powerful dose of it. I do so like my "TV off" effect I made in MS Paint. I think that's the one good thing about this comic. Beside teh raep.

Friday, September 12, 2003

Vol 1: Episode 2, Part 6

And we come to the close of another episode, and God, what a silly way to end. Again, 14, DOA tits, regret, etc. I do like the crack about Natalee, who I probably would have put in this episode if I made it recently. Oh well. You'll notice that all of the art has a "JOS" logo on it. Well, this was the logo of the artist JOS, who was once a regular on neotaku. He was personally one of my favorites, and he became sort of an advisor to me on the comic and actually sorta on life. We were pretty chummy though I'm pretty sure he was almost like 10 years older than me. I'll probably start mentioning him a lot from now, especially when the comic gets to the "guest star" phase. Anyway, I loved that dude.

Oh, and the reason Snap gets a bloody nose from the art is some anime thing. When people have perverse thoughts in animu, they get bloody noses. I don't get that exactly.

Wednesday, September 10, 2003

Vol 1: Episode 2, Part 5

I love putting shurikens into Snap. To me, there's nothing funnier then some one walking around with weapons sticking out of them like it was completely normal. Anyway, onto the notes. Trigun and Cowboy Bebop used to air back to back on adult swim on Cartoon Network, and after watching them I would go to bed, so I assume I made this comic later at night. And for the select few of you that have never played Ocarina of Time (awesome freaking game), the entirety of the game you have a fairy named Navi wandering around with you, giving you tips and telling you the enemies' weakspots. Well, she can be quite annoying half the time with her hi-pitched "HEY! LISTEN!" "HEY! LISTEN!" especially if you know what you're supposed to be doing already. This torch is some-what carried on by Midna in Twilight Princess, but she isn't even half as intrusive, but hearing your Wii-mote giggle is a little unsettling.

Vol 1: Episode 2, Part 4

I used to edit sprites. Those DOA girls sprites were of my labors, and Spike and Kenshin were as well. Spike comes from Cowboy Bebop, which is probably the most well liked anime ever next to FLCL. Kenshin comes from Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X, which would have been cooler if there was copius ammounts of blood. Kenshin's the little purple and orange guy that appears when Snap screams "Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu Pimp Slap Attack," which Hiten Mitsurugi is the sword fighting style Kenshin uses. Again, I'm a loser otaku and that's why I make these references.

Also, now that I think about it, why did Lupin buy Spike instead of stealing him like he usually would? I'm retarded.

Wednesday, September 3, 2003

Vol 1: Episode 2, Part 3

Yay, on to cure attempts! Sam's ofcourse is just plain out violence, which usually solves everything. And Japanese note, Kawaii means "cute." Its one of the 9 total words most anime fans actually know the English meaning for. I used to practice these 9 words. Another thing I grew out of. I still use the word kawaii occasionally, but usually in a really deep voice for the lulz.

Monday, September 1, 2003

Vol 1: Episode 2, Part 2

Ah, love this comic. You'll note I used the physical transformation in later comics. When the group looks over to Snake, and see a box, it's a reference to Metal Gear Solid. In the games, Snake uses a cardboard box to hide in. I regret not simply drawing a box and using that wooden one from Mario RPG though. Sam's "Meat-Stick" comment was probably taken from some where. Meat-sticks seems far too wierd a thing to be original. Uhhmmm... Yuri is the opposite of Yaoi, as it stars lesbians. Yay boobs! Is that all I have to note? Yeah, okay.

Vol 1: Episode 2, Part 1

Ehh, not so bad. Jokes are pretty decent on this one, so its passable. Though I have no clue why I referenced the 70s. I think I just like the thought of Snake with an afro, though it is tiny, cute Snake. At least in MGS4 he's not balding. Also, if you haven't noticed before, a running them for the first few comics is "Everything bad happens to Snap."

Vol 1: Episode 1, Part 6

Wow, this comic... not so great. Jokes ripped off from every where. "Winter of your discontent" comes from Family Guy, and the "sounds like sex!" comes from... like any sort of comedy ever. :( Though I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my episode preview. I miss those types of things about the old comics.

Vol 1: Episode 1, Part 5

Ugh, more really bad errors. I wish MS Paint had spell check. Anyway, the official introduction of Nat the Yaoi fan girl. Having actually met yaoi fan girls later in my life, I learned that my assumption of the act was dead-on. For you who don't know, yaoi is boy-on-boy hentai, which is anime pron. I've run into my fair share of it, but I've finally become immune to it. But to a 14 year old kid, to see one of your favorite heroes engaging in anal sex with another man is unsettling.

And another Big O reference. You'll see a lot of those. I love the Flash Gordon rip off theme song.

I have no clue where I came up with the line "Its just a dramatization," though I still love it. I probably stole it from something. It's too funny for me to come up with.

Vol 1: Episode 1, Part 4

God... I'm such a loser otaku. I love the song Rhythm Emotion. I did when I first heard it. I still do. I wish I could find a girl who would sing it to me. But no, my girlfriend hates Gundam Wing and won't even sing a few lines of Fly Me to the Moon. Ugh. Anyway, now that I think about this, the fact that this fictional girlfriend I gave to Snap liking Gundam Wing makes sense, as you'll see in the next few comics. But, anywho, this comic also makes a shot at the white backgrounds I use. The only reason I use them is because of the gif format, and the fact that white makes it really easy to manage. You'll notice later on I actually give color and some background to some comics, but it's all solid blocks of color. I like gifs though.

Sadly I'm still a loster otaku, and ended the comic with a Big O reference. I need to find a Torrent for that. It's Freakin' Batman with mechs!

Vol 1: Episode 1, Part 3

Wow, first huge grammar and spelling and general errors. "How do you so it?" Also, I should have totally made a joke about getting serious. Puns are awesome.

Anyway, Hitomi is another DOA girl, I used her because she seemed the most innocent to me. The Walter P-38 is indeed Lupin's signature weapon, I knew this because, again, at the time I really loved Lupin. Also, lol censoring. At some point, I stopped really caring about swearing and started using it a lot, but at this time, I censored a lot and used alternative words. I'm using "I was 14" as an excuse.

Vol 1: Episode 1, Part 2

God, when I look back at this I feel kinda bad. The antidote joke comes from Family Guy's "frying pan antidote" joke and if my memory works properly, the "Scene Missing" I took from the Simpson's from one of Homer's night-after recollections. Though, Scene Missing is probably an old joke, it's one of my stock moves now-a-days. Best way to get from point A to point B when the normal path requires lots of pointless back and forth or point B is entirely upsurd. Anyway, since Link doesn't really have much of a personality, and that a good old fashion hero would not fit, I made him into a dick. I like asshole Link though.

Vol 1: Episode 1, Part 1

Ahhh, the real first comic. Made with love and MS Paint. Anyway, I think I was aiming to introduce each character by showing how they would try and pick up women to show their personality, starting with the ladies' man, Lupin the Third. Of course, such a simple method of charm would not work on a ninja, especially not Ayane of Dead or Alive. See, neotaku was originally a DOA forum up until recently, since most of the original members were in their teens when the joined, and we later matured and realized, "Fuck, we only liked that game because it had tits. We're fucking retarded." So now its a Video Game/Anime/General forum for us now.

Anyway, a few notes to point out. The Red Jacket thing comes from the fact that Lupin has worn severally jackets over his career, the most beloved being the Castle of Cagliostro Green and the 70's anime Red. I personally prefer Red, as that's what I saw first, and that's whats on the manga covers. The Pants: I, for whatever reason, love Iori's pants that have the bondage strap on them. I still wish I could find pants like that, though not bright red. Thus, I vented my love into the comic. It's sorta a running joke for an earlier portion of the comic. Its one of those things I grew out of.

Trailer

Wow... here we are, the very first comic I made for Jackass Adventures. Not really even a comic, just the trailer. I first decided to start making comics again once I joined up for the neotaku forums after losing some Mega Man forums I used to frequent. While I was there, I made some comics that I'm not so proud of. If you think about it, I made these when I was 14, and those came even before age 13, so they're not so funny. I was sorta hoping to reinspire some of the type humor from that comic with this comics cast. 100 comics later, you'll note that Cloud, Zero, Shadow, and Mr. T eemerge on the scene. They were the original cast of my old comic, and we essentially random personality wise. I hoped to try a varied cast again with this comic, but establish some personality among them. I chose Lupin and Sam because I lurv them both and their respective mediums were entertaining me the most at that time. I added Link because I like the sprites that SemiJuggalo made for him. And thus Team Jackassery was formed.
